Library

The Alliance in Atherton has a well-stocked library of French novel, poems and plays in French, a section of French children's books, and a limited number of LP recordings, CDs and videos in French. In addition, it has a large range of text books and other materials for adult and teenage learners of French. Borrowing privileges are freely available for all members and may be extended (by arrangement with the secretary) to non-members for payment of a small fee.

The library is open for borrowing in the evenings when classes are held from 5:30 pm - 7:00 pm. Currently classes are held on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays. The library may be opened at other times by arrangement with one of the tutors, Jean-Paul Antigny (Phone 4091 6265, or Glyn Davies (Phone 4095 3629).
